Major Imran Raza is the man behind the inspiring songs Bara Dushman Bana Phirta Hai and Mujhe Dushman Ke Bacho Ko Parhana Hai. Raza wrote the songs in the aftermath of Army Public School (APS) massacre to unite the nation for one cause, and that was to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan.
The Army Public School Massacre was the worst terrorist attack in the country’s history. Seven armed terrorists stormed the school killing at least 134 children and 144 people in total. The attack was in retaliation of the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb. The terrorist wanted to dent the courage of the Pakistan Army by attacking the children of the army personnel that went to APS Peshawar.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) is headed by Director General Asim Saleem Bajwa, who has successfully created a positive image of the Pakistani Amry in the country. The serving officer Major Imran Raza’s songwriting abilities have further enhanced the spirits of the entire nation. The two songs are not the only successful productions that have come out of ISPR. The organisation has also produced the number one action thriller Alpha Bravo Charlie that was aimed to highlight the Army personnel’s dedication centred around Zafar Abbasi Ghazi, who despite losing his arms and legs in Siachen (the highest battle ground in the world) continued serving the nation and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
The country recently marked the 1st anniversary of the APS massacre and Major Imran Raza’s latest Mujhe Dushman Ke Bacho Ko Parhana Hai song has won hearts of the nation, affirming their support for the ongoing war on terror.
